Ms Wani briefly went through the EOY exam answers. She showed us the Ridiculous Answer she have gotten from the students while marking. Hahas. Then she went through chapter 5: Bonding Singapore. Time's up and we headed back to classroom to attend Physics and Maths lesson. After school, went to food court with Nicholson, Jiaman, Gabriel, Rong Guang, Yuyang and Eugene.P. Then went to buy Bubble Tea. Slacked slack around and about 1pm I headed back to school again to help Entre people with the Canvas shoes. After the breakfast, had to rushed down to Prefect's Room to do a spring cleaning instead of my classroom. It was quite an easy job cleaning that place with many helping hands. We managed to get the job done within 1hr til 9.15am. Then the moment has come, the releasing of report books. And I got 1st in class position. What surprise me also is that I've gotten 8TH position in the whole Sec 3 cohort. Unbelieveable! Other classmates that were in top 5 are Asri, Amira, Shaun and Eugene. The moment I went up to Mdm Teo to receive my report book, my classmates were clapping loudly and cheering for me! Thanks guys, I really appreciate it alot! After that session, Mdm Teo showed us a video on her CIP trip. It was quite interesting. So after that, school dismissal bell rang and it was time to leave. How sad! I really missed those times with 3E3. Come to think of it, my class is quite hilarious with many comedians contributing to the atmosphere. Hahas. After school, went for Prefect Meeting. Mrs Lee announced the Pro-temporary Committee Members for Sec 2s. Congratulations to those who were selected! Then after the meeting, went to watch Izyan and friends play soccer. It's really one great and fun afternoon being with them, with lots of laughter created by Zahrin. You should have seen his actions, he can make you laugh till you get stomachache. Hahas. So Azhar and I went to meet Izyan first befor meeting the rest. I was worried about people staring at me while walking to his house. Can you imagine, a chinese wearing a Bajung Kurung which is not often seen in Singapore? Haha. After meeting him, we went off to take bus 12 to Tampines Mart area, where Asyraf and Benji's house is. During the bus, my outfit attracted alot of people's attention. I'm really not used to that kind of staring. Once we reached there, we met Firdaus and Zahrin. They were with us too. So we headed to Asyraf's house first. I guessed the mother wasn't expecting my arrival when I went there. She was shocked the moment she looked at me. But nevertheless, she welcomed me with a smile, meaning that she doesn't mind me entering the house. I sat in the living room with the rest and had some traditional snacks and beverages while viewing a movie shown in the television. When we were about to leave, Asyraf suddenly passed me a Green Packet! I was stunned. I didn't expect to received it at all as my mind was just to visit them only. Oh well, I just accepted it. After that, we went to looked for Benji as he was following us too. I wonder how he would looked like in the Bajung Kurung. When he came down to meet us, the others were laughing. They thought why his Bajung Kurung{Asyraf's one} got colour contrast. After that, we went to take Bus 28 to visit Ashari's house. When we reached the bus-stop near Tampines Library, we were told by him that his house was actually two bus-stops before here! So we turned back and walked to his house. As usual, we had some snacks and then chit-chat around. We watched the World's Craziest Videos and it was quite hilarious, entertained us alot. The malays had their prayers there and after that, Zainul came to meet us. Once they were done, we headed off to Farah's house. When we were at her door, the other were standing outside and not entering, so I decided to went in first. The moment I entered in, I saw alot of people which are strangers to me and I was totally stunned. No need to say also you will know that they were stunned to see me.Her house was furnished beautifully, though it was small. I was quite fascinated by it and I thought that I would want to be an Interior Designer. I saw Khairunnisa and Nasuha present at the scene also. After awhile, we decided to head to Nasuha's house by means of SBS bus. I ate quite abit of snacks at her house and we took group photos. I really enjoyed the trips to these houses. So after that, the girls and boys separated from each other, and they illustrated it just like how Singapore and Malaysia separated during 1965. Hahas. So we continued the journey to Zainul's house. We had our dinner there and it was appetising. So we slacked around there and took photos, and Azhar always like to capture my face with his camera. I disliked his camera flash, it's so glaring towards my eyes. After that, we took off and headed to Zahrin's favourite house which is Ashikin's house. My mood was down halfway because of some reasons, and I don't wished to talked about it. Even if I said it, would 'they' understand? It was until when we headed to Firdaus's house then my mood starts to brighten up. The malays were eating while Firdaus and Zahrin were singing Karaoke. We were listening to Firdaus singing and thought his voice was great until Zahrin starts to open his mouth and performed his 'good' vocals. We were laughing while Zahrin was singing. Hahas. It's like a smooth wave and suddenly it starts to become a curvy and unsmooth wave. But actually Zahrin can sing very well, if he knows how to control his vocals properly. After this hilarious scene, we headed off to Azhar's house which is a few storys above my flat. It's been like a millenium since I've visited his house? Abit too exaggerating, maybe about 3 years. His mother still remembers me and she welcome me warmly. My appetite suddenly gets better and I ate quite alot there. His mother prepared noodles and it was delicious. We were kind of rushed for time as we needed to be back home by our parents. So we headed to the final house of the day which is Izyan's house. We were sitting at his living room watching 'the Noose'. It's a really lame show. Then we had some noodles again. We were also viewing and relieving some of the photos that we took during Jalan Raya. I don't even want to look at my own face. I looked so different from what I see in photos as compared to mirrors. I guessed I'm not cut out for taking photos of myself. And I remember one photo which they zoomed in with me and Ashikin's face. I was laughing as they told Zahrin that he has another rival to fight with. Hahas. How funny is that. So this marks the end of the outing with them. We went home in separate ways, while Azhar and I walked home. It was indeed an unforgettable and enjoyable experience for me to visit the Malay homes during Hari Raya period. I really want to thanked Izyan for asking me along during this outing. I went to school to check my exam scripts and you know, my mind was all questions with doubts. When Mdm Teo distributed each subject papers, I was kind of nervous with the marks that I would attained. But nevertheless, some subjects left me with a great smile, while some made me pull a very very long face, especially Mathematics. I'm terribly disappointed with it. Damn, how can I fail it? Hais, stupid maths! It was quite a hilarious scene where the moment I've gotten my papers back, friends around me were asking how much did I obtained. LOL. What really surprise me is that Jiajie and Rong Guang passed Chemistry under my teachings! Hahaha, that shows what a great tutor I am. So if next time you need help, you know who to look for. Then when Mdm Teo was reading the ART marks, I was shocked! I got 85/100m for it. Oh man, I'm seriously so happy. It was quite competitive this time, with many people getting distinctions for it. What made me happy today is also the fact that I've finally passed Social Studies! Isn't it amazing? Double Happiness for me perhaps? (= So, this are my results for EOY only: ENGLISH - 72.9 [A2] CHINESE - 72.5 [A2] E MATHS - 48.8 [D7] {One of the worse subjects I have scored badly in -.-''} SCI(PHY/CHEM) - 64.7 [B4] COMB. HUMANITIES(SS/HIST) - 61 [B4] {I pass Social Studies! Some people might say,"What for?". I know it's pointless now to do another one, but there's a few reasons for it. Another reason is that I wanted to see the final look of my artwork if I had time to touch-up and paint it beautifully. First up was English Language 1. It was quite easy when it comes to Situational Writing but not for Composition. It was a hard time choosing 1 out of 5 qns that I'm confident in scoring well. After finishing the paper, recess was given before Chemistry paper commence. The moment I've been waiting for, is this paper. It's the one which can pull up my combined science grades as I'm not good in Physics. Well, thought it was going to be similar like the mid-year paper but I was wrong. It was abit difficult, but not so bad. Second day paper was the most worrying one which is Social Studies. For this time, I've planned to do the SEQ qns. first before starting on the SBQ qns. Luckily, there's a question set on Conflict in Sri Lanka and I was able to write smoothly. After writing finish, I flip back to qns. 1 which is SBQ. It came out on Conflict in Northern Ireland. Actually, it was not that difficult, except that I did not have time to complete two of the part qns. How saddening is that. Who can actually score well in this subject within the limited time of 1hr 30mins? Many people could not complete the paper on time also. Next, MT paper 1 was quite easy. Except that when it comes to the composition writing, I can't think of what to write and elaborate on it. So I just anyhow write whatever I can think of. Third day paper was English Language 2. It was not so difficult to understand the passage and answer the question. But I don't think I'll be expecting this kind of easy passage in 'O' levels. My summary writing was still okay, except that it exceed by 4 more words. Like who cares! Fourth Day was the Oral examinations. This is the part where I am weak in. I dont't usually like to open my mouth and talk. But for this time, I have to do that. My invigilator was Mr Tan. It was kind of messed up when it comes to the conversation part. I hope I can score well for this section, if not it will pull down my overall English grades. Fifth Day paper was Mathematics paper 2 and MT paper 2. I always had no confident in scoring a distinction for Maths, especially since it was one of my weakest subjects. Well, basically I was able to solve the first few questions till it starts to get harder and harder. So I just skip and skip till time was up! Hais~, last 5 mins I was still counting how many marks I lost, and in total it was 38 marks. Oh man, first time in my life, I lost so many marks in an exam. Forget it, next up was MT paper 2. It was quite easy for me, not having difficulties in answering the question. In fact, some of the passage was quite meaningful. Sixth Day paper was Combined Humanities Elective and Maths Paper 1. Since I took History elective, obviously I took the History exam. Hitler was the issue that came up in SBQ. It was not easy at all. Two of the sources I had difficulties in understanding them. And what's more, I do not know how to compare them in terms of provenance, content, tone and purpose. So I just write the first one and leave the rest empty. Then for SEQ, I chose the question on Stalin's rule in USSR. It was quite easy, except the fact that I was not able to complete it on time again! Seventh Day paper was Physics and POA paper 2. Physics paper is always difficult, having to face questions with higher order of thinking. But I understood most of the topics well and I was able to do. But as usual, could not complete it on time. Then it was POA paper 2. It was quite easy as I've managed to finished the paper within 1hr 15mins. But I was stucked with the final accounts question. So I tried and tried till the last minute. My Balance Sheet was not balanced in the total amounts for both sides. Debit side had $54550, while the credit side had $56550. I was thinking, where did the $2,000 for the Debit side went to? When I fliped back to the question paper, I saw that it was the closing stock which had a value of $2,000. And within a split second, I quickly write down the missing item which is closing stock and I've finally balanced it! I'm so elated! It was indeed a miracle. Eighth Day paper was POA paper 1. It was quite easy, with only three questions and I was able to complete it within 30mins? That was fast. I felt that since there was so much time left, why not they contribute the time to my other papers which I had not completed it? That will be able to help me alot in passing with flying colours. Last Day paper was ART. My final artwork was the most difficult to draw and paint withing 3hrs. I sort of gave up halfway while painting and wanted to redo it. But Ms Shaha and Mr Mazli said that there is not much time left to redo. So I continued to paint finish and the final look of my artwork is actually not that bad. The other student's work like Nizar, Firdaus, Farhan artwork was quite fascinating. So this was what happen during the two weeks of exam. I know it's kind of long and draggy. , 1:19 AM BACK IN BLOGGING Hello people, I'm back in blogging. It's been quite awhile since I've blogged. Earlier in the morning, just took my ART exam, though I was not able to touch-up on the drawing. Today marks the end of my final year exams and now, only one thing looking-forward to is the results on Wednesday. Whether or not I'll achieved first in level position depends on it. For now, these four days of break is just what I needed. |
