Monday, January 26, 2009, 10:31 PM First Day of CNY Hello readers, first of all, I would like to wish everyone a HAPPY LUNAR 牛 YEAR Today all of my relatives and cousins came to my house to celebrate CNY How convenient it is for me (no need to travel here and there) lol As usual, activities remain the same for the past few years and this year, it is still the same. -.- FOUR most common activities we do: 1. Munch on CNY snacks and delicacies 2. Play Blackjack or Mahjong (hehes, won quite abit in Blackjack) 3. Sit around and chat or watch TV 4. Receive Ang Baos/Red packets from adults (This shows that recession didn't affect badly to my family) Nothing much to blog about today, so I shall end here. Byebye! Time to blog after a busy week! Had normal lessons today at school until 9.15am Got back my Maths test, totally sucks man the marks. Just passed only (don't be surprised people). Alot of my classmates did quite well for this test and I'm like the last few? -.- Around 9.15, left the classroom and went to Foyer to fetch the Elderlys from there to the Hall. The elderly that I'm in-charge of has problems walking long distances, so a office chair was specially brought up for his own convenience. Had a enjoyable time watching the CNY concert with him even though he doesn't talk much. It's abit difficult for me to engaged him into long conversations. So I try my best to come up some topics to talk about After the concert, brought all the elderlys to AVA room to have lunch? After serving them, it was time for us, RISEchamps and CCA leaders to grab a bite :D I would say, Not bad uhh the food. lol Then we sang songs for the elderlys and have lots of fun there. We then brought them to the bus around 12 and wave them byebye. and our job is done! =) Yuyang showed me one song video just now. It's quite funny, so thought of sharing it with you all. Think this song is from the movie "Money Not Enough II". Finally got the time to blogged about my yesterday's trip to NAFA. Seriously those who did not go has lost a GOLDEN OOPPORTUNITY. lol. Before I went to NAFA, something unlucky happened on me. I totally forgotten to take my personal file with me and tada, it is gone. -.- I was like WTF? All of my important stuffs are in there you know!!! I went up and down the school just to look for it. Thank God Syazwan found my file above his bag and return it to me during recess. Must really thank him alot. So after school, went with Xiyan, Bel and Syazana to NAFA. (Yup, only 4 people went -.-'') If any of you don't know what NAFA is, it stands for Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Almost forgotten to take my file with me again. -.-'' So we train-ed down to Bugis and had a hard time looking for that school. We decided to ask for directions and followed some NAFA students. lol Yes! and we finally found the place. :D Ms Shaha and Mr Mazli came after that. Then we went to the Gallery in the school. Saw many fascinating and beautiful works seh, ranging from the price of $1,000 to $100.000? We had special priviledges unlike the other schools. Able to enter some places like Ceramic Making room, and some courses learning room. Then we were the last school that is still around in NAFA? LOL. Left the place around 5.30pm and we went to some sort of eating house to have dinner. Ms Shaha gave us a treat seh, so generous. Thanks Cher! =) I ordered Chicken Cutlet while Bel, Xiyan ordered Fish and Chips and Syazana ordered Spaghatti. Finished our food and off we go. Bel claimed that she saw Joakim Gomez (S'pore Idol contestant). I'm not too sure it was him cos I wasn't wearing my specs. =X Then we took Mr Mazli car's home because we were too tired to travel home ourselves. lol. Had lots of chats and laughters during the car journey. We must learn to laugh. (Quoted from Mr Lourdesamy.) lol Then Mr Mazli dropped us at Tampines and we bus-ed home ourselves invidually. Monday, January 12, 2009, 7:18 PM o level results, not to be taken lightly with. Hello, wonder why that "somebody" never tag my blog already...... Nowadays don't even get the chance to talk that often. Today is the release of O level results for 2008 badge of students. And I was there to witness this important event. The atmosphere there is seriously very tensed, even though I'm not the one taking my results -.- It feels kind of stressed and really creates a fear in me. Can imagine how I would feel like if I don't study very very hard now. Seeing today's results, I know where my standard is, and that's where I have to work on before scoring with flying colours. People receive O level results, I receive my ART Coursework 1 questions for O level. Questions seem quite suitable for me, able to think of many ideas. =) But I know, confirmed I will met up some setbacks during the preparation of my coursework. So should I say am I prepared for it? Or maybe not. People say Study Smart, not Study Hard. Perhaps that's where I am not able to differentiate it. Now, I'm starting to think that why am I working so hard for? Hey all, it's been quite awhile since I updated this blog, been quite tired and busy nowadays. okok, time to blog about this week. It's going to be one wordy and long post. Monday 5/1/08* hehes, as usual, went to school like a normal teen? first two lessons was taught by Mdm Noreha (HOD of English). thought the lesson was going to be extremely silence and boringg but turns out to be quite interesting and amusing after all. Learn about Metaphors, Similes and Personification. then had Maths lesson with Mr Lourdesamy. he's quite an entertainer, keep making us laugh. lol then POA went through some House-keeping matters first before recapping on Accounting for Fixed Assets. Had recess and after that was Physics. Ms Sakinah took my class again for this subject. Had alot of scoldings and lecturings from her while on the way and in the class. but seriously can make you laugh alot while she's doing that. hahas Then I gave the class wrong information. lols. There's no assembly on that day. -.-'' During RISE, we select our class committees. then discuss about class deco and whatsoever. Tuesday 6/1/08 Went to class for Maths lesson in the morning. We were sitted in groups to help each other in the cluster paper. Then had a open book test during MT. As expected, the test was difficult to me cos I didn't read the book entirely. Confirm fail one, if I pass it's really a miracle. lol After that, went for History class. Then had recess and it was Physics. Ms Sakinah started the topic on Static Electricity. She planned a small activity for us, using small strips of paper, a tissue and one clear plastic sheet. We were supposed to rubbed the tissue on the plastic sheet vigorously then placed it above the strips of paper, observing them jumping around. it's really very interesting. (= Last two lessons, had English, we wrote a composition. -.-'' Totally tired out and can't think of what to write. Wednesday 7/1/08 Had ART lessons in the morning. Mr Mazli asked us to be sitted in one circle and in the middle he placed some stuffs for us to draw. It was kind of difficult, just can't seem to draw it right. MT lesson was boringgg. Then had Chemistry. PE was up next. Took my height and weight again. Damn! I still didn't manage to grow at least 1cm taller! -.-'' Think is the machine problem. =P Then we slacked around before heading to recess. For english, we did group work on comprehension. Supposed to design acomic strip based on the paragraph my group has chosen in the story. then Rongguang go draw till the character ook so ugly...-.- Maths was the last two periods and Mr Lourdesamy did a mindmap with us based on Trigonometry. He's seriously very funny lor, I laugh until like siau during his lesson. hahas. Wah, I'm so tired out from typing, arms are like aching now....and both hands very "suan". Okay continue on Thursday. Think I just summarise what I did. Thursday 8/1/08 Had ART lessons again in the morning. Supposed to do a portrait of my friend and seriously, this is one of my weakess skills. But manage to pull it off I guess? Then SS lesson, went through the slides Ms Wani showed on what to expect for 2009. Had history lessons and then was MT. After that was recess and POA lesson was up next. Continued on Depreciation. Then SFL, we went to Nanyang Poly. Not so interesting really, kind of boringg After which, headed back to school and went to eat at Mac with Nic, Gabb,Jm, Joeyi, Xiyan, Bel, Yy and Rg. hope I didn't miss out anybody. Then eugene came to join us for awhile. Slacked around at Pasar Malam near 201 there. Always the same things I can expect to see there. -.- Friday 9/1/08 Today presented my book report to the class. It was a attempt fail. lol. Then Chemistry, Ms Chan went through the notes with us. and I've gotten a sweet from her. ^^ Next two periods was SS. Ms Wani started on Globalisation. Seriously, it's quite content heavy for my brain. Then after recess, went for POA and did some practices on Depreciation. After school, went to slacked with Benji, Xiyan and Bel at Mac. Oh man, really can't believe those two girls are Sec 4 students. LOL Did homework there and went home.
